Mode calculator analysis the data value if the value is repeated it counts the number of times the values occur. It gives us the mode of the data value, median, mean, and range and arranges the data into ascending order.

What is the mode?

The mode of the data is the specific value that occurs most frequently in the data. The data value's mode does not always occur like other central tendency measures like mean, and median. Possibilities of the mode may be not found, may be unique, and maybe more than one values are the mode in the same data.

Method of collecting the mode:

To find the mode of the data, we have

• For simplicity, arrange the value in ascending order.
• Count the repeated values
• If no value is repeated, then the data has no mode.
• If the data value is repeated, then the most repeated value is the mode.
• If more than one value is respected same time, then both values are the mode of the data.

Examples

Example 1:

2,3,45,5,78,12,2

Solution:

Step 1: arrange the value in ascending order.

2,2,3,35,12,45,78

Step 2: Note all the repeated values

Mode= 2

Hence, 2 is the most repeated digit in the data.

Example 2:

-2,10,7,3

Solution:

Step 1: arrange the value in ascending order.

-2,3,7,10

Step 2: Note all the repeated values

Mode= No mode

As there is no repeated value in the data.

Example 3:

2,3,4,5,5,5,1,2,3,4,2

Solution:

Step 1: arrange the value in ascending order.

1,2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,5,5,5

Step 2: Note all the most repeated values

Mode= 2,5

As two values are repeated the same number of times in the data.
